I have two Locksley solid fiberglass 60" recurves available if anyone knows of someone who could use one. Both are marked 25# and have a shelf for RH draw. One has green/white striped limbs and the other is orange/white.
These bows were made by Ben Pearson in the early 60's but are in good condition and I made new strings for them. Would like to see them get used and passed on to get the most from them.
Post if interested and if there is a lot of interest I guess we could have a drawing as was done with previous giveaways.
I know a great family that could use them. A good friend of mine has 5 children and is a leader for his churches youth groups as well as a local boy scout troop leader. He and his family love the great outdoors and don't have a ton of excess funds, yet always seem to find ways to give back to the community and donate for charity drives. I bet if he didn't want it for his kids he could put it in the hands of a needy scout in no time flat. I've given him several pieces of gear and he's always found someone from a single mom family or a kid that needs a boost in morale to forward the gifts to.
Thanks for the honorable donation to get more youth involved. ANY opportunity to pull them away from games and get outside is a great thing indeed.
Garrett,
Thanks for this suggestion. I think with your friend's connections to the community groups as well as his own group these will be put to good use.
PM your address and I'll get both of them to you asap.
Awesome nek4me! Just awesome... Sounds like they're going to just as good of a home as any. Kudos my friend.
What a great thing to do for both of you.

Sounds great. Thanks. Anything I can do to see stuff like this get in good hands, especially in needy families makes me happy. I love to promote the sport any way I can. Being a leather worker, I may have to look around and add a couple quivers to sweeten the deal with some spare leather.
WELL DONE!!!!
