Sure didn't accomplish much. But it was fun. I went out this morning and tried a new toy. Thought I would mess around with different weighted heads so after lunch went out and shot those. One of Allen Boices creations, an all Myrtle Chief, 50#@28", with some of Snag's best.

Then I thought why not fire up the forge? Hadn't done that since almost two years ago. When I quit a couple hours later, it even kind of looked like knife!
Does sound like a nice day .
I have a big blade that I need to finish , going to have an elk antler handle .
But I just don't have the gumption .
Nice day for you though , thanks for sharing .
Wish I had your background as s tool maker. That kind of background must come in handy when working on blades.
Gary
Well Gary , the way you do it is much cooler .
You make blades like a knife Smith .
I make blades like I'm making a part for something .
My way is not as impressive .
Yep! Good day, for sure.

Oops, double post!
