Title: Asbell Pathfinder Zippered Pullover
Post by: Brian P. on July 05, 2016, 09:20:00 PM
Looking at getting one of these in blanket weight grey. I already have a vest with hood and 2 zippered "pullovers" from them in ESB and Timberghost.

Who has the Pathfinder and pullovers (zippered or not), and which do you prefer? I ask because I want a blanket weight garment, but am torn on which. I love what I have but like the looks of the Pathfinder.

Opinions?

I just recieved a pathfinder in Montana magic.  I ordered v neck pullover and love it.  Since it feels like about 145 degrees in KS right now I haven't used yet.  But will sure put to use this fall.  I really like the pathfinder pocket.  Well thought out and useful.

I don't have a Pathfinder, but I do have a blanket gray Anorak.  It is my favorite hunting garment.  I wear it on morning hunts as long as it is less than 45 degrees out.  If I recall, someone on here said the blanket weight is the most versatile and I don't dissagree.  I have all the weights in various garments from Miss Teresa, and I absolutely love the blanket and my second favorite is the light weight.  The lw is so soft, I wear it over a t-shirt when the air is just cool and it doesn't make me itch.  You can never go wrong with a Miss Teresa wool garment!

Love mine, if I was buying today, I would get the half zipper, especially w the blanket weight. LOVE the zippered front pocket, ideal for phone, snack, wind indicator etc....

I really like mine, but I wish I would have bought a full zip jacket instead. I love the kangaroo pocket, but it's a pain to get off and on sometimes.
