Everybody has some favorite topics, a thread that will draw you to "click it" more times than not.
Mine:
1) I'm always a sucker for a good broadhead thread, especially something "A la Ashby".
2) I like to help others with spine guesstimating.
3) Hill Bows! I never get tired of reading about them or looking at the pics you guys post.
4) Classic Grayling Bears! See above...
What are yours?
Treads that say w/pics.
1)i love pictures of everyones hunting area
2) any post by Texasbubba as his pictures are something very special, he has a talent!
3) knife threads
4) selfbows members have built
Build alongs are my favorite. Expecially like Osagetree's "homegrown hunting equiptment". Just about anything the Ferret posts! And anything having to do with the St. Judes auction...just to name a few....Terry
I like threads that ask (or better yet answer) questions I didn't even know that I had. This place is a wealth of information.
I like looking at the new bow threads since I cant afford most of the ones you guys get. (Blacktails, silvertips, etc, etc)
All the new bow threads and success stories.
Bill
I like threads with a little history with'em similar to , The old Duffers were young once, thread!

Along with all of the above;
cane arrows

And anything from members that have a way with words, like George D. Stout, adkmountainken, killdeer, pinecone, etc...
hunting stories with pic's so I can live vicariously for a while.
Everyone of them I read.<><
I like the ones where Ron LaClair takes cheap shots at me. LOL :)
I love the hunt-a-longs with all the great pics.I may never get to Alaska or Austraila, but I feel like I have been there. We have some great story tellers and historians with-in our T.G. family as well as tons of experience. ---Bone
I really enjoy the bowbuilding and arrowmaking threads, especially if they have pics. I read most of the various threads however. This site is nothing less that a wonderful outdoor school with a wealth of talent and knowledge that is willingly shared.

My wife's spring turkey
OH, I think I just won again. LOL!! :knothead:
Gosh Denny, maybe I shouldn't have said "you never win". I underestimated you, I didn't think you'd stoop so low to win one :( ...I guess I was wrong, but what is it they say about pay backs?
I say the first round goes to Denny
Tracy
Selfbows and turkeys, and cool back quivers.
"Build-Alongs" for almost Anything! "Archery Tools" that are Homemade, the Ingenuity that Frugality Fertilizes! :scared: :archer:

Selfbows, wood arrows and hunting stories with pics.
Success stories with pictures!
I like the "Almost Got A Deer" story, or "How I Got Busted" story, or "How I Missed A Close Shot" story... Ya See... That's "MY Story!"
... mike ... :banghead: ...
I also like the threads Ron takes cheap shots at Denny!! :bigsmyl: Seriously I like the ones about actual hunts, JLMBH threads, Curt in Kansas and the one today about the Harris boy shooting a buck with his 30# bow. They are my favorite ecsp. the ones with the kids! Shawn
First time success stories, and the photos from the seventies and eighties.
I like the threads that people i have me on my trad journey post. Also can't wait for the Bunny hunt thread. >>-----> :jumper:
Hunting threads by far...all, but really like the group hunt threads....and shooting threads on the shooters forum....its all about us all being better shots in the field.
Good thread!
Depends on the day, and my feelings that day - I try not to miss too many any way - except during Deer season - LOL.
My favorite was the St. Judes auction last year. Just as long as we don't see Bernie all gussied up! Other than that the one where Ron LaClair added the video of Norm Blaker kicking his ***, well, maybe I better leave that one for Denny.
I like all hunting threads, especially the ones describing a first deer or other animal taken with trad equipment. It is fun for me to read those stories and kinda feel how proud and excited someone is over their first. Seems like here lately, there have been a bunch.
My favorites are the selfbow/arrow/harvest threads and those containing pics of the old-timers.
The "how to" threads. I've been using the search option alot the past few weeks.
I also enjoy the pics and great stories. What a great place to be.
Every single time I have asked for help, someone here has taken the time to answer my questions.
Thanks to all.
