This past Saturday, I ventured into the woods with my son for the first time together. I was a bit nervous, as he's getting very much independent and this wasn't the place he could/should roam free. Well, I was nervous for no reason because he and I had a great day! The stroller worked great, as it held snacks and water, while also giving him a break on the steep hills. He'd growl like the bear and grunt like the deer as he would try to pull arrows out. Great time was had and I'm looking forward to next time. Pretty sure he'll have a bow in his hands not to far down the road.

Thank you for letting me share.
That's awesome!! My 4 year old daughter wants to go rabbit hunting in the field by our house every evening! We take her suction cup bow! It actually holds quite a few rabbits and its indescribable how excited she gets over a stalk! I'm gonna have to take her for real this season!
So,awsome they grow up so fast you will remember this day the rest of your life. :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Good Times!

That is awfully cute. I think I'd feel bad putting arrows into his animal friends after that!
Doesn't get any better than that.
Now THAT is a beautiful day afield! Happy Fathers Day!

That feeling did come over me at times. But the smiles on his face while pulling arrows and "talking" to them quickly suppressed those feelings.
Truly a day I'll never forget - "The First Day We Spent In the Woods"
Looks like a fine time! It won't be long till he is shooting with you!

That's great. I've taken my son out in the woods with me a few times, but I haven't tried shooting with him yet. Most of the area I roam around isn't stroller-friendly, so we just explore.
Too cute....
you can easily shoot with him in a backpack I do it all the time much easier then a stroller and a great work out!
Good stuff!

I thought about going that route, but I'm no where near confident enough in my shot to have a 30lb weight hanging off my back. He does ride in it when we mow the lawn though! He sure likes his backpack, but too much fuss in and out for a 3D shoot. He can get into and out of that stroller on his own, as he pleases. I would have been a frustrated pack mule!
