I have my thunderchild on the waiting list and im torn between wood types to get, Can you guys post your big jims bow wood type so i can get a refrence.
Don't have pics yet but got the call a few weeks ago that the build is starting. I chose a highly figured piece of desert ironwood with Maccassar ebony and rosewood striping. No white or red glass. The Limb veneers are amboyna burl. Both woods were custom ordered. I left the horn/antler selection for overlays and tips to Jim. He will decide which to use, based on what he feels will compliment the woods best.
Pics to follow of course!
Don't do this to me please. I recently sold my 2 piece Black and White Ebony T-Child and I am in denial just now. Pics will just make it worse for me. :banghead:
