EIGHTY, NINETY, EIGHTY & SIXTY PERCENT chance of rain at times was the forecast for the 2016 Howard Hill Southeastern Classic.
THEN, came a 20% for Friday, 60% for scattered t'storms for Sat. and then an 80% chance of showers for Sunday.
Folks, I've been so blessed for years with the weather for the HH Classic and this year was no different.
It never rained until supper was winding down Saturday night, and then YES the, bottom fell out. It also rain for about an hour an a half 1st thing Sunday morning, then after that turned beautiful.
NOW, with all that said, YES, the attendance was down a little (I think because of this) but not as much as I would have thought. AND I DO UNDERSTAND THAT!!
I WANT TO THANK THOSE THAT COMMITTED TO BE HERE AND CAME.
I truly believe we had some tremendous archers here that not only shot well, but had a lot of fun doing it.
I'll post the winners a little later.
Please, for those that took photos, please post them.

Terry and crew,
Another great event as usual and Yes we in our group did have great time.
We did have to leave a little earlier than planned due to our camping gear being swamped by the late monsoon that hit us Saturday night, but overall it was a great time.
I'll post pictures and a video later as I get it altogether, thanks again!
Hate I missed it, Terry. Will try for next year.
Let us know the dates when possible.
I had a blast, and the weather was great for this time of year. Hey, it's summer time in the South...rain shouldn't surprise anyone.
Hate I had to bug out Saturday evening, but packing up a wet E-Z-Up and a bunch of wet product is just no fun...and can get expensive.
If I were shooting...a little rain never did run me off.

John,
i wondered where y'all went. What time did y'all leave?
Daniel,
After we ate and spent some time over at Big Jim's we eventually went to get our gear and shower before turning in for the night.
Little did we know that a wall of water had rushed into our tent door and swamped most of our bedding and all of Tommy's clothing.
We made a decision to go ahead and pack up and leave due to no dry clothes etc...
We had a blast l! Met many new people and shot a round with South Ms Bowhunter (John), Possumhead (Kirk) and Pascagoula(Tommy). Very fine folks it was a pleasure to shoot and hang with you guys.
Can't thank Mr Terry and the crew for putting on a great event. The food and fellowship was outstanding as was the course.
Can't wait to see the video when your finished John

The Men & Woman's Championship was won by Charles Jackson & Myrna Jetton against some outstanding competitors.
