What's new at Thunderbird Archery?
You're probably familiar with or 2 part epoxy bow finish and our polyurethane arrow finish. Both have been the standard for top, high quality finishes on the market. Were you aware we offer a High Solids Sandable Filler Sealer? Most people aren't. Which got us thinking. Maybe we need to improve it. So we did!
NEW and IMPROVED! Thunderbird High Solid Sandable Filler Sealer.
Dries 50% faster than old sealer. Dries to the touch in 20 minutes. Can be sanded and recoated immediately. It is also easier to sand. Yet has all the same high quality filling that those of you who love the old product rely on.
This sealer has been specially formulated for archery applications (but works great for many other applications as well). This products high solids content gives a fast, excellent build on open or porous wood grains. It is an excellent sealer and filler for the riser section of a bow. Brush on application. Not recommended for the limb section due to lack of flexibility.
Specially formulated to work with our 2 part epoxy to reduce finishing time and production time on your bows. You can move quickly right from filling to spraying epoxy on you bows immediately after sealer is set and sanded.
Give it a try. it ia available in Quarts and Pints. We think you'll love it. For more info you can contact us at  www.tbirdarchery.com (http://www.tbirdarchery.com)  Phone 517-617-3658
David and Tracey

We would also like to thank Bill Dunn for helping us with the testing.

No need to thank me, David. I appreciate that you and Tracy are making improvements to an already great finish. As good as the other high solids sealer was. This new formula is better. The old formula filled well but was hard on sand paper. Thunderbird's new formula fills even better but is much easier to sand. It does not eat paper like the old stuff. The high solids sealer is a great time saver!

I am not a bowyer but I am a aspiring wood worker. Would this product work on items such as table tops? Another question? Could I French Polish over it?

It is not designed as a stand alone finish just as a filler and sealer. Iw would work well on furniture but as it is applied you sand it down to wood leaving the product in the open grain to fill. Then put your finish over top. I am sorry I am not sure what french polish is

I've used the filler since the first bow I made over 15 years ago. Hard to believe it dries faster. I brush it on real heavy then sand sometimes another coat on woods like wenge. A quart lasts me a few years cause I haven't made many bows lately.
