Anyone out there have any idea where a feller could get a replacement 4 arrow rubber gripper for an old Bear spring arm quiver ? Or has anyone came up with or made their own ? If so, what did you make it out of ? Thanks in advance for any help ? Mine got brittle and broke....
Terry at The Footed Shaft usually has a used Bear spring arm quiver or two around. Checked his site and I see he has 3 LH and 2 RH used ones in stock. Two of the LH appear to have 4-arrow grippers.
Give him a call. http://www.footedshaftllc.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=9_103
3 Rivers used to carry replacement 4-arrow grippers for the vintage Bear quivers. I have updated several quivers with them and they are good quality. Check their website.
As Joe said 3 Rivers has them, but I've made several and they are not hard to make. Hanna Rubber Co. has stock rubber in their scrap shelves from cut off drops they sell very reasonable. I take the old gripper and lay it on the new and trace around it. Then use a box knife and cut it to shape. Then use a hole punch to punch the proper size hole for the arrows. The nice part (other than cost) is if you use skinny arrows you can make your holes any size that fits your arrows best.
I have some.Call me if you are interested.
