Just giving a shout out to all tradgang members. Little Crow is packing up the Tipi and going to the Eldora, Iowa shoot Memorial weekend. If any members can make it please stop by my camp and say hi.
Good luck to you Mr. Waltman; those are some fine looking bows you make.
My boys and I will be there, heading over Friday afternoon to set up camp
I plan on being there. Its always a great time. I'll bring some quivers with me if any ones interested. Eldora (Pine Lake) is great place to hold a shoot. Look forward to meeting you there.

I touched base with a couple of old bowhunting friends today Looks like Ill be going to the Eldora shoot.
Going to try and make it at least one day ; been absent to long ; always was a good shoot .
Several of us from Sioux City will be there! I have not been to this course for several years, but it was excellent the last time I was there!
Where can I find directions and info on the shoot?
Go to iowatbs.com their home page has all the info. You can also check Pine Lake Archery Club.
Irv, you can also check Iowa Traditional Bowhunters Society on Facebook.
Hopefully this is our last location move. Good facility and nice course. We'll be setting up all day Friday... welcome to come in anytime.
In the rare event it rains on Memorial Day weekend, this location does have more sheltered area.
Hope to see you all there!
It was a great shoot, a little wet on Saturday but it didn't keep us from having fun....

The boys would often start out at about 30 yards and work in from there till they could confirm that the target was either dead or they were out of arrows :biglaugh:

It was a great couple of days with lots of :archer2:
Good job there Dad. Love seeing young people involved in Traditional archery. Also that pup is looking good.
Ben,
Thanks for sharing the pics! Saw you there with the beagle pup. 4 of us were there from Sioux City. We were shooting Holm Made bows. The course was great.
Thanks for the pictures Ben and the nice words. The same can be said for you and your boys. On the way home we commented that it would be nice if you lived closer as your boys share the same interests and values as our kids. Best of luck on your upcoming bear hunt.
Nice seeing you and the boys, Rod. Thanks, Chad
