He also gave me a handmade arrow and Bowsock. Mr. Herb is a super nice guy to work with. The bow shoots AWSOME.

The dark grey on the red elm should be a great natural camouflage. I been shooting it all day. It shoots Easton 2219 with authority. Whisper quiet.

You didn't say it was supposed to get there that quick! Wow. Nice bow. Congrats and enjoy!! :archer2:
-
That's a great looking Pronghorn. Be sure to read the "Care and Feeding of your Pronghorn" on Herb's website; that never ceases to make me chuckle a little. Mine should be here in a few weeks, can't wait to join the "new pronghorn club".
-
That is sweet! Congrats
-
Herb is a master of the craft!! Nice one!
-
Nice one! Really like Herbs bows
-
When I first called Mr. Herb I was undecisive about the limb core. He stated that he thinks red elm makes the best all around limb. I told him just to make it the way he wanted to. I just told him the specs and I would be using it for hunting. He said that I wouldn't be disappointed. He was correct for sure.

Herb is one of the best!!! Congratulations on a beautiful bow
-
Man that's a sweet bow

I want a one piece longbow case that allows the quiver to remain on the bow. Which one do y'all recommend? I looked at Kathy Kelly and Shooting Star. They both look nice.
Do y'all have any suggestions or opinions? Might be something that I am not thinking about.
-
Nice bow Matt!

Matt, are you coming to the Howard Hill Classic? If so, I hope to take a look at that bow close up. It sure looks nice.
-
Sam; good to hear from you. Yes the family and I are going to the Howard Hill shoot. You are more than welcome to look and shoot it. We are actually thinking about leaving here on Tuesday.
It shoots as good as it looks. You will like it for sure.
-
Nice bow sir , I have wanted one of those for a long time......
,,,Sam,,,

That's a beauty.........
-
Matt, Good! I plan to ride over on Thursday, so I expect I will see you early on. I finally got that second Northern Mist Shelton in yew that I talked about wanting. I think you will like it. See you soon.
-
Nice looking bow, love the limbs. Best of Luck to you.

I just got an older one piece from a consignment shop. I believe it is a cocobolo riser with bamboo limbs. It really zips 2117's out at blistering speed and shot a Robin Hood after having it less than a week.
It shoots that good, and is positively stunning to look at. I haven't touched a recurve since picking it up.
Would have posted pics, but couldn't figure out how to load them from my phone. I hope you enjoy your pronghorn, sir. :archer2:
-
Nice surprise, they are sweat shooting, quiet, and deadly accurate.
-
Pictures for Steve Jr.
This is my 64 inch. I got a 62 inch should arrive in two weeks.
-
I got a case at the Kentucky Trad fest, I want to say Rhino maybe, I really like. I'll check when I get home tomorrow.
-
That riser appears to be stabilized and dyed with Cactus juice?
-
-
Hey Matt I posted on your bow when you originally posted. It sure is a good looking bow!! Definitely a hunter, did you get it with the short handle or Herb's standard handle?
-
I like it!
Those are good lookin' bows.
I'm a big fan of another one that is very similar from Colorado, called Black Canyon.
You took all the right pics... thanks for sharing!
-
Beauty Matt. My check is in the mail today. Mine is on order!
-
Steve; sorry for the delay I have been out of town on detail. I got the standard length riser.
-
Thanks Matt, that's a nice looking bow! Herbs Bows are some great shooters.
