I need 145's so curious what the favorites are.
My favorites are 150gr German Kinetic broadheads! But since you asked specifically for 145gr, my pick would be Magnus Stingers!

you know Bisch I think I should of just said 150's because 145's as a screw-in doesn't have many options.
German Kinetics,, are you shooting the XL's or Regulars and where are you getting them?
I see that RMSGear has come out with a 150gr Cutthroat broadhead. I'm using their 200gr screw-ins and couldn't be happier with them.
The old Bear screw-ins came in at 145.
I'm going to try out the Helix broadhead. They have a 150 gr that you might want to check out.

I use both the standard 1 1/8" and the XL. I carry both in my quiver all the time. I use the XL's on deer and like sized critters, and use the standard on big pigs and other tough critters where I need more penetration.
I have not bought any in quite a while (like a couple years) because I have a pretty good stash, but when I do need some, I buy them direct from GK.
I just started using the Stingers about a year and a half ago, and really like them too. I now use them on the big pigs, so I won't have the chance of losing a really expensive head on them.
My field points are 145gr. That is the heaviest field point I have seen in 9/32" that will work on my FMJ shafts.

thanks everyone all good stuff here,,, Paven I actually have 2 of the old bear's and 2 of the new stainless bears in my quiver now for this mornings turkey hunt but no shots..
Simmons broadheads have a couple in that weight range. They may be 15 grains more or less, but that are close.
A "roll-your-own" Grizzly 125 on a short aluminum adapter will be close enough.
I liked these, I've got em in the classifieds

Does anyone have any experience with the Kustom King Trailmaker, 3-blade in 145gr. or the Woodsman (original or Elite)3-blade in 150gr. from 3 Rivers?

Both good broadheads. Just make sure you get them good and sharp, because they are not ready to hunt out of the pkg.
Bisch
Not factory sharpened? I would not have expected that, thanks for the heads-up. I always had better performance from 3-blade broadheads in my compound days, 20 years ago, so I am inclined to give them a try again, before going another route. Thank you!
I thought the trail makers were a little loud.
110 Zwickey Eskilites or Magnus 110s on a 35 grain 5/16 adapter, fit nicely on most carbons and are easy to sharpen.
150gr. Magnus Stinger
Another vote for 150 grain Stingers.
I just bought 6 of the DRT broadheads and they fly really well. Look pretty nice and lifetime replacement warranty
thanks everyone now I have to decide on which but many good choices, nothing you guys mentioned I heard anything bad about I know that..
Magnus Stinger 4-blades here, as well.
Stinger 2 blade or 4 blade
I have some 150gr Grizzly heads that are wicked sharp and make a big hole.
I shot 2 deer last year with the 150 gr. Wasp sharpshooter traditional 4 blade head. They flew great and I got good penetration!

Yes...WWs....from bunnies to hogs to a 2000# Bison

The Trailmaker is made by VPA, should be a good one.
I usually just go with the original WW and put them on what ever adapter I need to make the weight I want.
Steelforce has a very nice 145 in the Phatheads with the African.
Eichler Muzzy phantom was 145 if you run across any of them.
150 grain VPA 2 or 3 Blade
Back when I used screw in heads, I used the stainless steel Bear heads. I had difficulty sharpening them, but otherwise, I liked them.
