Where is everybody? Is there a TG shoot this year?

What a bunch of slackers. I'm going home... Not!

Killdeer,
How did the arrows shoot for you? I'm glad someone I "know" got them.

Made it in for one day.  Arrived Sunday morning at 7:00 and shot all 3 courses by noon.  Trails were a little sloppy from all the rain Saturday afternoon but still had a good time.

Lee, it was nice meeting you (and talking about my Gamemaster Jet).  I hope the trip was worth it for you despite the rain.

Do you want to know the reason?

Two4hooking hit the goodies on that one every time.  I just figured I had been betrayed by my onboard computer.

Hey Dan, good seeing you and John again!

I think it affected those who have shot this course before. They had a bedded doe at that tree with the stake 20-25 yards. Then they put the bedded elk at the same tree and moved the stake back to around 35 yards. It looks like the doe shot but it's an optical illusion. You can see the difference standing at the elk and looking back at the stake.

Everyone I shot with shot low a couple of times including me.

It would always get me on the other course with the bedded elk. It's the size of the target that gets people thinking that it closer then it really is, i actually shot it well this past weekend

That elk really got me. Even when I did hit it (1 for 3) the shot was low. Good to hear I wasn't the only one.

I hope I can shoot like that on a similar scene in September!

Hey Richard! Those were built just the way I do my 3555 GTs. Put my heavy heads on them and they saved the shoot for me.
On my way up to camp for the checkbook, I ran into another TG member coming down with arrows to sell.

Are those Gold Tips?
Yup, six 1535s.
How much?   :scared:
It left me with one dollar paper money in my pocket. But I sure am glad my weight and draw are right on the cusp! Put my heavy heads on them, and yippee!

Upshot is that I scored 17 arrows and it only cost me a day's work at the PO. I was down to only three mismatched arrows when this windfall came my way. ( I came with four, and popped a nock off one.) Thanks!

Nailed the big bison on the HH course.   :bigsmyl:

Great pics, two 4.  My favorite target so far is the one shot from the platform.  Did one at a course in Shelby, MI last year.
