Just hoping for a bit of feedback here guys. I now have my Whip bow/bolt and one piece Turkey Creek. My stable is almost full but I do need a three piece takedown. It will be much cheaper to get into Australia with the postage for the shorter length three piece.
I have my short list down to the Brack or the Morrison. If any of you guys own them can you please give a bit of a comparison. I am not starting a bashing contest - I just need to know the differences and what to expect. Living in Auss it is impossible for me to handle the bows and test them first. It is more expensive too by the time I pay exchange rate and postage - so any feedbacks would be appreciated.
I could not find the price of the Brack but I think the Morrison will be more expensive. Also looks as if the Brack's waiting list is out to one year now but the Morrison only a few months.
I am looking for a three piece with a nice medium recurve grip, stability, quality build and speed. I only shoot 42# so need the best performance possible for the big Aussie feral swine!!

ACS CX hands down winner mate!! Especially if you need performance at 'lower' poundage.
Never shot a Morrison but I've shot two or three different Brack NT's. They are in a word....awesome. :thumbsup:
Both make EXCELLENT Bows. Good Luck on your decision.

The brack has wider limb and a larger, most times heavier riser.
The Morrison has a smaller riser with narrower thicker limbs.
The ACS is different from both.
All depends on what you like...I like the compact risers from Morrison when I grab a recurve, cause at hear, I'm a longbow guy...and I like the thicker limbs cause I'm a bit ruff when I hunt.

I mostly hunt with longbows, but at times I hunt with a recurve.....just depends on the mood I'm in and the game I'm chasing....as well as the perspective of the environment I'm hunting.
Morrison or Brack ? Throw both names in a hat and draw one out-cant go wrong either way.

While I have never shot a Brack, I have shot an ACS-CX I didn't like the grip but it flat smoked an arrow (I'm pretty sure O.L. can build any grip you want though). My Morrison is my baby though, It has NO hand shock and is the most forgiving bow I have ever shot, and mine is 17 years old. I'm sure he makes them even beter now. Also Bob's customer service is top notch.

I have shot all mentioned, and I prefer Morrison.
I can tell you this much, you will not find two finer gentlemen then Bob and Bill. Both have outstanding customer service.

There isn't a bad choice in the bunch! Sad to say but our opinions won't amount to squat if you get one and don't like it. My best advice is to pick the one you think you'll like the best and get it.
Yea you are so correct Mr Madness - words of wisdom. At great expense I have ordered and taken delivery of quite a few custom longbows now, even some from great heritage and with many recommendations. However most arrive here and I don't like them.
That's the trouble with living on the other side of the world from the motherland of archery. You can't try the bows first cause nobody has them in Auss. Just order and hope for the best.
So far I have the Toelke Whip and the Turkey Creek - at least both of those are keepers. However they are very similiar bows and not much difference at all between them. I need a three piece, my favourite style of bow and I'll be a happy archer!
