A few days ago I bought a used ( in new condition) Stalker Coyote FXT long bow off of the classified section of this site. It is 49 lbs at 28 and 62 inches long. It has highly reflexed limbs. I got it in the mail today! I was super excited as the bow was absolutely beautiful. I took it out of its packaging (which was superb) and put it together. I twisted the string up to 7 and 5/8 inches and guessed where the knock point would be based on my other long bow.
This thing is super quiet, steady in the hand, the grip feels like love. and its ability to handle my weird form speaks for itself! Here she is!
I think the riser is ebony and cocobolo with maple accent stripes.

The limb vaneers are cocobolo and bocote with lace wood overlays on the tips and limb bolt pads (http://i.imgur.com/BoJF4jf.jpg)
Here are the first 6 arrows I shot out of it. I wanted to see which ones it liked better. This is at 15 yards. (looks like either set will do the job!)

One more. why not?

Thanks to Ermont for being a pleasure to do business with and selling a bow exactly as described!
Props also to South Cox of Stalker Stickbows for making a GEM!
Holy cow! :goldtooth: I am not going to get any work done!

Looks great and good shooting!
South makes some great sticks, that's for sure!
Have fun with yours!

Awesome bow. Don't ever let her go.
Beautiful bow
Real nice.
I had just seen that bow and was getting ready to make a move on it right before you bought it darn you! Lol. Congrats on the new stick!
I believe the woods are ebony and cocobolo, with Bocote veneers and leopard wood overlays. I have the big brother to that bow in the same wood combos in a wolverine fxt static tip and working tip recurve limbs. Hands down the best shooting bow I own. I would really like to try a set of South's hybrid long bow limbs. Enjoy her. I'm sure she'll treat you well.
Love the Ebony and Bloodwood combo. Congrats! That's some fancy shootin. I don't think I could have put them in by hand in a tighter group.
Very nice shooting. Congrats on the bow. It's a beauty
I almost jumped on it, when it first posted.
Now that I see your pics I wish I did.
You have a beautiful bow, congrats and enjoy!
An exemplary stick...congrats
Nice one Michael. They were tested right in your back yard and proven to be deadly on Goats!
Thanks guys! I am excited about this bow for sure. I want to take it hunting but it is so pretty... Charlie, I took that zebra griz up the mountain the other day. no action though. Its another pretty one I am scared to hunt hard!
If I shot it like that, I'd def take it hunting! Nice bow.
You can always buy another purty one!!
Sweet bow and great shooting! I have a Stalker Coyote and love it!
Wow! Enjoy
That's a beaut!
I looked very seriously at South's bows for my first custom. I went another direction, but I'm not ruling one of his out of the question someday!
Thanks for sharing :clapper:
It looks like you may be buying lots of arrows if you continue to shoot like that. NICE BOW!
Some bows are very functional as well as being very artistic. This is one of those bows. Be sure to show pictures of game taken with it.
I know the rocks there can be tough on bows but I agree with Kenny, if I shot a bow that well, it would be used for hunting. You can always refinish it and South can always build more.
Kenny and Charlie Very true. Thanks for the advice. It will be in the woods after a couple more days of practice at more distance. If I can keep them flying good out to 25 It will be my go to bow. I have been shooting it a lot. I wish all my groups looked that good! But it is easily the most constant bow I have shot. If I do my part and keep my form proper. I think it may be the grip and the additional weight in the riser.
Hopefully it will have a nice goat photo in the near future...
