Bidding starts in just a few weeks and the listing forum is way behind it's normal listing numbers.... please remember this is all for sick kids.
:campfire:
Terry, my password doesn't seem to work on the St. Jude forum. I have tried several times. Who should I contact to look in to it?
Allen
got most everything posted, will have to look to see if I can find more items.
Allen...it should work the same since its a mirror image of TG...I'll email you your password...and remember its case sensitive.
Thanks.
Thanks Terry, I finally got in. I will be listing my stuff this week.
Allen
I'll be listing soon too.
I've got bow staves to list, but have no idea how and I cannot post pics.
Wow.... my thread from yesterday generated ONE item.... pretty sad
Looks like this will be the last year for the st. Jude's..... auction maybe it's run its course over the years.
Your thread will generate 4 items,,,,I'll figure out pic posting tonight after work. Don't give up on us yet Terry!!!!

Added some goodies Terry! Could you delete the very post on the snakey osage? Added to text so it's basically a double post. Just posted a hickory backed Osage board bow kit also!!! Red streaked osage!!
TTT
Only 2 pages....Really Sad...... :( :( :(
Btt come on guys only 23 days left!
Dang Terry I started a bow I was going to put on but going in for surgery tomorrow and be down 3 plus weeks so wouldn't be ready. Maybe I'll put it on with the stipulation that I can send it once I'm healed up and able to work in the shop
Yes sir that would be fine as long as you list the stipulation I think most folks would be willing to wait as most folks do weight for a bow
I just added two items.
Let's keep this going. The Trad Gang St. Jude auction is one of the very best things that hunters do to give back to our communities.
That generosity does not go unrecognized. Do it for the kids and do it to help protect our hunting heritage by showing that we care, not just about hunting, but about being good citizens.
Just received an email from a friend in regard to the St. Jude forum. He had an excellent idea and I think it needs to be considered. Instead of asking for items, why not request a small monetary donation from all TG members, say $5.00. If everyone gave, it would amount to a very tidy sum and it wouldn't strap us economically. I have no idea how many of us there are, but I would have to think it's more than a few. As my friend said, why bid $20 for an item that could be gotten for $10. I'm sure most members would love to contribute, but their economic situation precludes this, due to a variety of circumstances-job loss, salary decline, unforeseen emergencies, etc.
Would anyone care to weigh in on this idea?

David, there are several options every year to just give cash.
It was good to see you at Whittingham. for some reason I feel like I called you by a different name when we were parting ways, if I did, i am sorry for that.
Ron, I look forward to reading your book.
Yes again we have a cash donation option available which we list on our forums.... this year it looks like there will only be one big for him but you can make a donation of any amount on the cash donation thread that will be on the Forum
Was unaware of that option. Thanks.
Yep that options been available for every single year we've been doing it back to 2006 or so
I have $200 in hot dog/soda money from the Stumpfest held in upstate New York back in April. That will be sent in when it is time.
Thanks for the kick in the pants Terry. I've started posting mine.
Come on guys...list 'em up for the kids.

I'm sure and your friend are very good people, but you bid $20 for a $10 dollar item because it is a benefit auction, not a "get it on the cheap kind of deal". It's for kids who didn't ask to be in the situation they are in. Society has really changed over the years and it is not for the better IMO. On a side note I just picked up an OT day to cover shipping of the items I donated,,,,I dislike OT very much :)
When is the auction exactly?
Todd
Just listed 3 bows and I will find some more stuff to post.
I just listed a Marbles knife lets keep this rolling !
I've been slacking this year - field work planting 1,000's of trees and acres of food plots have had me tied up tight. But I have some things set aside and will get them up this week.
I also just got confirmation that a good friend of my mothers is donating a beautiful hand made quilt. Knowing her work, this is going to be a very high quality item. I'll take care of listing it for her - I can't wait to see it!
It's starting to look a bit healthier. I listed a few items myself. Have been bidding a couple year first time donating. Feels good.
I just listed two items for the kids see if I can't find something else I could live without.
Gabe
Iv got stuff that I need to post. Will do tomorrow. I work with sick kids for a living and they need it more than we do!!
My apologies for being late to the party this year ... I have listed a very fine Acadian Woods Longbow today and will get a few more up before the bidding gets going .... great to see the flurry of activity recently ...
