here is my current setup. bear super grizzly at 50 lbs at 28 i draw slightly under. trad only 400 spine at 30 inches 5 inch left wing feathers, standard insert, what weight will make this arrow fly go do you guys think?
-
I'd probably start with 200as a guess
-
For me, it would be about 150 grains.
However, I've noticed that many people send in responses to similar questions recommending much weaker dynamic spines than I do. For example, it wouldn't surprise me if someone recommends 200 grains or more.
I have to assume that the way people shoot the bow is different enough that different people tune similar setups and get different results, so the only thing that is really going to be meaningful is if you do bare shaft testing and see what flies best for you.

See? old_goat2 beat me to it and fulfilled my prediction before I could even finish typing!

everyone is saying my arrow is too stiff any would need very heavy weight up front. can i bareshaft with a cant?
-
my fletched arrows seem to fly better with a heavier head 200 and less i see fishtailing. 250 up front it goes away
-
Going to be hard to tell with those feathers on the arrow. Have you tried bare shafting?
-
i tried the 200s and they bareshaft good, the problem is my release im shooting a damascus glove and the excess leather is causing me to pluck the string. i shoot split finger would you guys try a tab? if so what kind are good, also the bareshaft seems to be droping down in flight quicker then the feathers is this from the release issue? thank you all
