Title: Martin Damon Howatt Custom Bushmaster
Post by: elkhunter45 on April 21, 2016, 07:26:00 AM
I have one on the way from a popular auction sight. I had been looking for an inexpensive 50# longbow since I have given my 57# custom one to my son. I had one back in the early 90's and it was my first longbow. It was the impetus that got me to have my custom one made exactly 20 years ago this month. I seems that I have come full circle. Anybody on here still shooting one of these?

I have that exact bow - #50. Not hunting with it this year though.

I had a 55# Bushmaster but had to drop down in weight so I sold it. Great bow, quick and silent with just wool puffs. Shot a heavy arrow really well......you never see them for sale.

elkhunter45,
I Sent you a p.m. about that bow if it's the one I think it is?
If it was the same bow the condition was good.

Yeah , I'm shooting a #55 LH custom bushmaster and love it.
Punches out the woodies very well.
Cheers

I had a 45# New condition Custom Bushmaster for sale in the classifieds for over a month and there was zero interest. I thought it was one of the best shooting bows I had ever owned. I replaced it with a 45# Viper that shoots just as well.

I have one that is 64 pounds...only an average bow I would say compared to the later Martin/Howatt bows
