I'm trying to decide between
a Wolverine and the Coyote models. If anyone out there has experience with both let me know what your thoughts are.
I'm not sure I would ever be interested in longbow limbs so I'm not sure that the interchangeability would matter

Some day I'll own one or the other as well, because the grip is amazing, and they shoot so accurately.
Just not quite ready yet.
So many beautiful wood choices...I can spend just hours and hours looking at the catalog.
One of the things I think I understand is that the Wolverine is cut closer to center and will like more arrow choices, supposedly.
The Coyote is a smaller grip/handle, I think.
I know you will love either.
I would spend some time talking to South.
He won't steer you wrong.

I tried both at Denton Hill 2 years ago. Decided on the Coyote. I ordered a 62" recurve 46# @ 29", I was out shooing it today and I still am very pleased with the bow. I like the shorter riser with the long working limb. The riser is also a bit slimmer than the Wolverine. It's quick and with just wool puffs almost silent.

I have not been able to open that website for a week!

You can't hardly go wrong with any Stalker bow!
Good luck figuring out which is the right one for you.

I have a Wolverine but I can't comment on the Coyote. I like the larger sight window on the Wolverine. I think that it is just personal preference and both bows are lightning fast and accurate.

I have only shot the coyote and it was a great bow. That being said I prefer the looks of the wolverine and if I was ordering one today that's what I would get.

I have shot both a fair amount. I would recommend the static coyote.

Thanks for all the replies,I 'm leaning toward the Coyote but I still have allot of time (to much?) to think about it.
I don't understand the end game to hack into a trad. archery website! What do the S.O Bs hope to gain?

I shoot a 62" Wolverine and a 62" Coyote with multiple limb weights and a 64" Dingo and all of them draw smooth with no finger pinch or stacking to my 30-1/2" draw length. They have carbon fiber & bamboo limb cores and all 3 bows are REALLY quick with my heavy arrows. They're really quiet shooting and absolutely no hand shock. You won't be disappointed.
Check out my review of these bows by searching Pow Wow for "New Stalker Stickbows" on January 27, 2016.
Call South on his cell phone at 707-496-0136.

I think he might have a test drive program, give him a call. I shot his pass around " Hope " bow a few years ago and it was a fine shooter. It had LB limbs but I do not recall the model. I took it to a few 3D's and also shot a jake turkey with it in the spring. I have a Wolverine that I'm very happy with. I've also shot the Coyote, and would have been happy with that, too. The Wolverine is a bit wider than the Coyote and cut a little deeper in the sight window, and they both have a really smooth static limb. Can't go wrong with either one.

Cant go wrong with either!

For those who inquired about the website.
Unfortunately the site is still down, but the catalog was added as images on his fb page. https://www.facebook.com/StalkerStickbows/
You don't need a fb account to view, but you do need an account to comment.
If you need the informational videos, I have them all on my youtube page.

As for the to bows. Both are great choices, but I prefer the slimmer profile of the Coyote. In my opinion, it's more looks and feel than anything else.
Thank you!
