Hey there,
it says on the flyer that on the trail: 2-blade broadheads. Not field points. Does anyone know if that's the case? Many will show up and won't be able to shoot with their field points (and I won't go because of that).
Is that the case?
Thanks!

Yes, I just heard from them. The course is 2-blade broadhead only.
Enjoy it, it's a beautiful course!

They have always had that as a requirement with the exception of field points required for the bow birds. Years ago, three blades were allowed but they tore up the targets much more. Also wood arrows and feathers only. It is a great shoot and an even better time.

Yep, them broadheads can frustrate the heck out of those who just shoot field points. come on out an meet new friends

Since no scores are kept, and there's nothing to "win," I don't see what difference it really makes, but rules are rules. It's a pretty low-key event, with lots of camaraderie and fun. Put together a few broadheads and if those get lost or broken, which is likely, I doubt that anyone would call you on it if you finish out the round with field points. There may be some scored events apart from the general course, and of course you would have to follow the rules for those particular events.
Actually, most of us look forward to shooting broadheads at 3D targets, since there isn't much opportunity to do that otherwise.
