Is there anywhere I can get 75 grain brass inserts for gold tip trad arrows. Having trouble. Thanks for any help. Local archery shop ran out andto cant order anymore. Brandon
75? All I've ever seen before were 50 & 100 grain.
Ok that may be so. That's why I was asking
The only one I know of is the 75gr HIT insert Easton makes for it's Axis arrows. I think there used to be a 75gr steel insert, but I don't think it is around anymore.
Whose got the 100gr?
I've never seen 75 gr inserts for gold tips either but their 50 gr brass insert is threaded on the back to accept their weight modules. You can get a 20 gr module which would get you to 70 gr and if you need/want to be exactly at 75 gr you can also buy a PDP 5 gr screw to go in the back of the 20 gr module. Cheaper than changing bbroadheads.
This place seems to have different types and in 75 grain.

We have the 100s
Cut the back off a 100 to make it 75. There is plenty of brass there. Dino

Done the same a few times...it's not that hard.
Cut a little off, weigh it, shorten as needed by removing length/weight using a belt sander.
If you want 75gr foe a GT arrow, you are going to have to cut 25gr off the back end of a 100gr insert. If I were you, I would pull one out of one of my arrows and weight it. I'll bet my bottom dollar it is either 50gr or 100gr.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe GT makes a 50 grain insert and a 25 grain weight that will screw into the back of the insert.
How many do you need? I have a few 100 grain GT inserts laying around I will ship to you. Just need an address.

BINGO!!!!! This is your solution! I can't believe I forgot about this, as long as I shot GT shafts. Yes, you can get the GT 50gr brass insert, and the 25gr add on weight . They sell a wrench that goes in from the nock end of the arrow so you can change weights when needed.
