Title: 56" Toelke Lynx?
Post by: jt85 on April 12, 2016, 06:48:00 AM
I am curious has anyone shot the Lynx 56" recurve limbs ? If so what did you think of them were they smooth, easy to shoot, and what draw length do you feel they will comfortably handle?   Thanks

Didn't know he did 56".  I've shot 58" and 60" and much preferred the 60".

Biathlonman, Dan's website says the Lynx is available in 56",58",60" recurve limbs. I have the 60" limbs and was wanting a little bit shorter bow for when I hunt out of my blind. I draw 27 1/2 inches.

I don't have a Lynx but I shoot a 56" Chinook and my draw is the same as yours.  My Chinook shoots great with no pinch at all and smooth as glass, like all Toelkes.

Best of luck.

I've shot the chinook and the kestrel...both were the smoothest most stable short bows I've tried. Unfortunately I can't shoot worth crap with anything shorter than 58"

Dan would suggest the 58 inch limbs. I have one and it's perfect for a blind whether a double bull or hidden Hunter. In my opinion one of the best recurves available, very fast and whisper quiet. I shoot a 44 @ 28 and it is smooth fast and quiet. Tom
