Title: Whisper of Fred Bear

Another long day...... It has been approximately 8 months since my re-entrance into trad archery.... And still no matter how tired I am from the day, no matter how much I just want to sit down, I hear it.  I go to my gear room and lock up my duty belt and hang up my uniform.  As I stand there, I hear a whisper.... the whisper of my bows singing to me.  Still 8 months later after having bought the bow I had dreamed about since boyhood, and another that I had to have, I pick them up in awe.   I admire the craftsmanship, I follow the grain in the risers, I dream of the woods.  I hope this feeling never fades, and I hope my desire to live vicariously through an arrow just released never diminishes.
Today and everyday Fred whispers to me. I hope I never grow to busy, or get caught up in the noise that is the daily grind to hear him.        :pray:

I've been shooting traditional for 25 years now.  It still hasn't gotten old.  Enjoy!

Been shooting trad now for 7 years. I will never turn back. I just converted a compound shooter to a trad shooter this weekend.

What's bad is when you hear it while the wife's talking and she knows you didn't hear a frazzlin thing she's said!    :dunno:
