Looking at a 62". How are they for speed, smoothness, quietness etc? Will it handle a 29" draw without stacking? Any other info will be helpful. Thanks, Bob

Never shot one but he has been making bows for satisfied customers for a very long time. Why not give him a call? :archer2:

I believe he sells a lot through RMSG, the always have a bunch of new ones.

I shot them at Denton Hill. Very nice bows! My draw is right at 29" too and I shot the 62" model longbow. I thought it shot great. Very nice craftsmanship and a nice grip. I think you will like them. Good luck, Sam

You won't be disappointed. I have one that I bought from Mr. Foley a few years ago at Compton. This past fall he made me another set of 62" limbs (48#'s@28"). The bow is very smooth and the craftsmanship is great.

I have a 64" Foley takedown. It's 53#s at 30". I draw 30" so decided to go with the 64" bow. I shot a few of his 62" longbows at Denton Hill prior to ordering the 64". They felt fine at my draw, so I'm betting 62" for a 29" draw would be fine.
As for speed, smoothness and quietness, IMO, they're right up there with the best.
Give him a call. Ron's a great guy.

if they are like his recurves then they are fast and quiet, had one(recurve) with bamboo limbs and it was very smooth drawing

Ron makes some fine bows!!!
