im currently building an ilf riser and its time to decide on limbs.i have it narrowed down to two limb but im not sure what limb to go with.the two choices are ******** blackmax wood/glass limbs or ragim red lion glass/wood limbs.the riser is cherry,maple,and a blondish red oak.what one would you guys pick?

Lots of great limbs out there for ilf bows. I have had really good luck buying target limbs and just painting them camo or black. SF Archery makes an awesome limb at a very affordable price.
Sorry I don't have any experience with the two limbs you mentioned.
The Black Max Limbs are one of the best deals out there. Especially since they rate them on a 17" riser. The 35# I have that max out at around 40# are super accurate and consistent. Also very quiet.
I agree with tracker, the black max limbs rate high with me. Some of the quickest and quietest limbs I have used. great limbs at a very nice price. I have some high dollar limbs that are faster,but not by much.

Not much to offer based on experience, except when I warfed my Hoyt TD3, I put a set of black max's on it, I've found nothing bad to say about them yet.
