Got about 20 older 2216's in a swap but, I am unsure what nocks to use with them. They have a taper at the end and 11/32 nocks are two large 5/16 seem small though I could be wrong. Most of the nocks are old and I would like to replace them.
I believe I used 11/32 on the 2216 and 2219s I used to shoot.Its been awhile
I used 5/16th on 2020s,2018s and 2016s
Should be 11/32.
Even with the taper? The shaft it's has about a 5 degree taper about two inches from the end before the silver cone for gluing the nock on.
I still shoot 2216 from two of my bows and "yes" the 11/32" nock is the correct one. When gluing twist the nock around the swag a time or two so the glue is evenly spread.

Some older al had a slight narrowing of the shaft just before the nock taper. With those use 5/16. Being small does not matter as long as it is aligned.
If you mean the shaft seems to step down, like the old autumn orange shafts, before the nock tapers begins, then they take a 5/16 nock.
