Tempted to try that kangaroo glove Big Jim's stocks with an order I'm about to place... any more feedback from folks who've shot it for a while now?
My favorite glove is a kangaroo hide from ABS, before they went overseas for gloves. Was going to get one from Jim at Tannehill, but he was out of my size. I'll be looking at the KY Tradfest in a couple of weeks to see if he has one.
I got one from Big Jim at Cloverdale. It's 3 years old
now and still looks good. I use it every day.
I cant comment on jims glove, but i can on the kangaroo leather. The stuff is amazing. Its very comfortable to wear, moves nice and requires little break in. On the same level as bison for toughness and durability, with little to no stretch. To me, 'roo is one of the finer glove materials. Love mine...
I have been using Kangaroo in falconry gloves for 25 years and when I heard I could get a shooting glove made from Kangaroo for archery I jumped that day. I would say it is the best leather you can find it is very strong but light.
My kangaroo leather Crossover glove from American Leathers is the best glove I've ever used.
I bought the Kangaroo glove from Big Jim at Cloverdale last year. I really like it. It's very comfortable. It's the only glove I use now.
Bought mine about 4 years ago from a gentleman that had some crossovers made from kangaroo and sold the extras. Cannot say enough about the glove. Other than the leather getting a little darker from use , it still looks like it is new. Very little wear if any. Holding up very good. Still snug on the fingers. Highly recommend them.
Thanks to all so far. Do you guys find it gives a pretty clean release?
