I am thinking about picking up an Alaska guide creations bino harness. Looking at the Kodiak cub with the max pocket. Anyone have any experience.
Thanks
DK
I just bought one but haven't had a chance to use it yet in the field. My initial impression though I'd that it is the best harness out there for my needs. Anxious to give it a real field test!
I recently bought the Kodiak Kiss harness, I like it but haven't had a chance to test it yet.
I think Aaron Snyder did a review on them somewhere. I remember it was a favorable review.
I bought one and love it! great company to deal with!
I've got one and it's awesome! I had a Sitka gear bino harness and sold it to get a Alaska guide creations harness and glad I did.
I have the classic version. It is awesome!
I have two of these. I think they are the best design I have found for my needs.
I've used a Bino Bro by Oregon Pack Works for the last 5 years. I can shoot with it on with no problems. Karl is a traditional archer as well.
brought one for elk hunt in co. last year wore it every day on that hunt. shot two deer with it on after that, on of the best hunting accessorys i ever brought. keeps binos rigth where you want them, get thhem in and out with one hand, and almost no noise at all, at a reasonable price
I hunted with mine all season. I got the one with the basement in it for my vortex razor 8x42's. I liked it because I could basically keep all the gear I need for the day in the pockets. My only complaint is the mesh back is a little noisy with one of my mid season jackets.
My wife asked what I would like for my birthday, hoping for this. Come on April 5th.

Gritty Bowmen had it - "what is in Aaron's backpack".
I think the binos are not tethered they just sit in there like a case???? or am I wrong.
I have one and like everything about it except that it is NOT waterproof (although it tends to hold water inside pretty well)In western washington thats a big deal

Doug, I sent you an email. I was having trouble sending it. Just wondering if you received it.
You can tether them in. On the website they actually state that they recommend you tying them in. I haven't yet but I am just going to use black paracord when I do
i just loped the neck strap thur the harnes of the guide pack it worked just fine. the little top pouch was nice to slide my compass into kept it out of the way but was easy to get to and use
I have the CUB and really like it. Holds my Razor HD 10x42's perfectly. Side pouches hold headlamp and fire starter stuff. Front has extra tab, string, and snack bar. Rear mesh holds licenses. Top elastic for compass. Great product.
Just talked to Jerret and ordered the classic model to carry my 12x50 and 10x42 in. Great to deal with and they make sure you are ordering the right pack.
I like the look of the Kodiak KISS, but not waterproof is a concern for me. Of course, that's about where I am with my present harness and no case...
