Well I was the incredibly lucky winner of this bow in support of Noah. I will always cherish this bow due to the generosity of David and his son that offered this bow for raffle and of course our tremendous Site admins who make the magic happen.
I call this bow TG because she represents so much to me about this site. Obviously she is respective of Jack Howard who was clearly as master bow smith. I've longed hard to one day get to shoot one, to now own one is indescribable.
The history of the bow is one of a survivor, apparently she was damaged and nursed back to life by Rich Lopez and our own Sixby. Again to hold a bow in my hands that passed through Sixby's is clearly a thrill. The man has a way around bows.
And to David Conroy whose posts I certainly highlight and make a point to read each time, the experience of his is worth learning.
Finally to Allen from Ten Ring Strings, I always equip my new bows with one of his strings, the quality is perfect.
Took her for a spin, only had to adjust the nock slightly for my new anchor, right under my cheekbone and my arrows were on the mark in no time.
The bow is classy in every way, smooth to draw, solid on the shot and will be travelling with me to the woods this fall without a doubt.
Thanks again to all that had a hand in this bow, it is a clear reflection of the quality of this site and the people that make it worth my while to spend each day learning something new.
