Awesome! Thanks for the link.
Wow! That guy is a human mountain goat! I would have fallen right off that cliff. Good stuff. Thanks for posting.
Good stuff
I scratched mountain goats off my bucket list after I went up just to watch them north of Yellowstone. They had nice dry conditions. I got snowed on in June on some nasty terrain. No place for an old half cripple like me to be, the seat of my Subaru never felt so good.

Gotta love it...with a THUNDERHORN no less... great vid.
Best video I have seen in a long time. Awesome. Wonder what pack he had that goat stuffed into.
Awesome video. Makes me yearn to get back in the high country, although I am too much of an old goat now to hunt mountain goats.
If you have never hunted in the mountains before, than it may be difficult to appreciate the accomplishment of these brothers.
Mountain hunting in that type of terrain is very difficult, dangerous and extremely taxing. Also, to shoot a goat with any type of weapon is tough enough.
Thanks for posting this video. I think it is one of the best videos I have seen in a long long time. I am sure I will watch it more than once.
I really liked this video. Not going to happen for me at my age, so it was really good to follow along on this one.
I can't believe how much stuff they had with them. Definitely a young mans game. The last time I backpacked for elk, I was trying to get rid of ounces let alone a pistol and high quality camera! And I didn't go in ten miles, more like four.
So my hat is off to them. Great hunt and great video.

Boyd Rinella. Brother is Steve of the show "Meateater." (They grew up in MI- live in west now). They are really tied into/friends with the First Lite guys.
Though its not typically Trad- you can't beat Steve and his shows for serious "traditional" ethics and means of hunting. It has MUCH more to do w the hunt/harvest/meat (the guy won't waste a thing including the bone marrow or head of deer!). Any trad guy would love and appreciate his show.
Awesome video! thanks for sharing!
Thanks for bringing this back up! I missed it the first time around. That is an awesome hunt.
