UPDATE, We lost a very good man last night. His wife contacted me to let me know. For those in the area there will be a celebration of life on April 2ND time and location still being determined. Guys, I come to you with a heavy heart. I've met some super guys thru trad gang and become very good friends with some. Brett Eisman AKA Bretto has been very sick for the last 8-9 months. I've waited for him to say something about it, but he is such a humble guy he hasn't. Bretto was diagnosed with Leukemia last April, for those that know him he has been a gentle giant. A man of 6'2" or so and Over #300. The last time I saw him, Tom Porter and I visted him in the hospital before the bone marrow transplant and he was down to #168. After the transplant he was limited to visitors as his immunity was down. He has had a relapse and hospice has come to help him. He is one of the finest men I've had the pleasure to hunt, shoot and know. He is a man I probably wouldn't have met if it weren't for Tradgang and I am so humbled to have been lucky enough to be his friend. Just wanted to let others know as he has really enjoyed the interaction with tradgang and it's members and could use their support now.
I am sure sorry to hear this.
I met Brett at mojam, one of the guys you like instantly. Hang tough big guy, thinkin and praying about you.

Brett and I grew up across the river from each other, we go back a ways and we're both a couple river rats. TG is what brought us together though and a finer man I've never met. I'm sure glad we got to share some campfires, lots of stories and lots and lots of laughs when we could.
He was there for me and came to see me during my heart and brain surgeries. Calling and texting you name it, been praying everyday for him. Talked to him on a text week and half ago then Ben called yesterday with the news. Speachless!!!
Still praying buddy for you and the family!

Another great member.....too much sadness in the last month. I pray that it ends now.
Terry, You are correct, he was a great member. A very dedicated bowhunter and archer that would do anything to help you. I shot a lot with him and wandering around talking and shooting all day with him was a pleasure. He told me quite often about the rabbit hunt in NY he did with other tradgang members and described each that he met there and how meeting them he felt he'd known them forever thru this site. I don't think some know how big of a binder this site is. We hunted rabbits here in Kansas a couple of times with tradgangers and he several times more. I'll never forget meeting him at a shoot and him handing me a Howatt Super Diablo and saying here this is for you I saw you saying on tradgang you'd always wanted one. The mold was broken when God created Bretto. Til we meet again at the big campfire my friend!

Yes indeed very sad...rip...
A few short years ago my house was broke into and some of my hunting things were stolen. I hadn't known Brett very long or well. After he got wind of this he gathered up some of extras and sent them to me. He wouldn't even let me pay the postage. His kindness meant the world to me. Just shows how great of a guy he was. The only payment he wanted was to have a beer with him...so bretto when I have a beer I'll have with you...
