Title: Plastic nocks with wood grain look?
Post by: bowhunter15 on March 11, 2016, 10:17:00 AM
Does anyone make plastic arrow nocks that have the look of wood grain? Much like how "traditional" carbon arrows have the wood grain coating. I have been searching around and haven't seen any, but would prefer the look to the white nocks I'm currently using.

I've never seen anything like that before. I'd be pretty surprised if something like exists, probably not much demand.

Closest would be some brown color nocks.

I find my arrows a lot of the times only because I see the nock sticking out under the dirt,grass,ferns....... Not sure I want my nocks to blend in?

BearPaw had some that had a swirl look to them. I bought some drab colored green a few years ago and they had a blackish or dark greenish swirl lines in them. They called them "Camo".
Don't know any company trying to make them look like wood .

If you want the look of wood then shoot self-nocked woodies. All the fake wood is absolutely a joke...

You could add a hardwood self nocks to carbon shafts. It would be kinda like adding white walls to a Porsche though.    :biglaugh:
