I have actually shot a Black Widow for the first time today. The funny thing is that I actually one this one. I see why people like them so much now. I don't know if I am just the luckiest person or if they all shoot like this one does. I am absolutely amazed at how it shot. I literally strung it up and shot it and it barely needed any tuning. I shot a three shot group at 15 yards and I could easily make my index finger and thumb touch around them. The first three shots! This bow is an absolute performer! If you have a Widow, let's see it and any game taken with it!

That PAX is a good looking bow
Friend of mine has one and I shot it very well the first time I picked it up.
The bow. They shoot very accurate easily.
The asbel grips are awesome. That's what I have on mine
I just got an PL III. With a toby beaver tail grip. Really nice shooting longbow
Getting ready for thunder chicken season!
I liked them so much that I bought three Black Widow PLX longbows over a one year period. They have a nice smooth draw and shoot flat. I really like the Toby/Beavertail grip on their bows. Their longbows also have nice eye appeal, especially with the exotic woods.
The folks at Black Widow are tops to deal with as well. They really know bows and will back their product if anything goes wrong which is highly unlikely. I really enjoyed talking with them and building the bows together with the nice exotic woods. You won't regret buying a bow from Black Widow.

Sean,
Thanks! It looks like you've done pretty well with yours, as well! Great pics!! It makes it pretty convenient when they're down the road 3 hours!!! I like to try to keep the $$ close to home, too! Bunch of great guys.. top shelf all the way!
God Bless,
Rodd
This thread is killing me!
I just ordered a PCH X, but it won't be here for another month!
The agony :banghead:
I love seeing them though! Keep'em coming.
Ha Rodd!! I'm GLAD I don't live that close to Nixa, or I'd've in trouble!! I've shared a Bear camp with Roger and Toby a few times. They are great guys!!

Totally made me lose it Sean, funny....
Can't beat a Black Widow,Roger and Toby and the guys are great. They'll do anything to help a guy out it seems! Getting ready to order another one myself.
My new PSA X will be here Monday
What at buck KAZ !!! Were you shooting a KB or PA?
Toby and the guys are a great bunch to deal with. When I was looking to order a Widow I decided to drive the 4 hours to Nixa to test drive a few models. Toby came in on a Saturday morning and opened the shop and let me try every bow I wanted to shoot. After I settled on the details on my bow he took the extra time to give me and my girlfriend a tour of the shop and show us all the steps that go into making a Widow. These guys are the BEST in customer service! And they make a damn nice bow too:)

I echo all the appreciation & respect for The Black Widow Folks. There's not a finer company/group of people to work with. I count it an honor, privilege, and joy to call them friends... :clapper:
I love my PSA X camo wood grain. Had it custom made in 2012
