Sure know how to spoil yourself Fred :)
Nice......all these Chad bows is going to make the wait time get longer with all the orders....lol. I have said for a long time.....he builds a beauty. That's why I have a bunch... Glad to see all the interest.
Looking great Fred!
That one is going to be SWEET!
Nice.
awesome, cant wait to see what she looks like when done. just me or do those limbs look more static than the other RR's??
The hooks are larger in these pics, because there is still extra length on tips for nock overlays and shaping. It does look like it would make a good static though.
You guys need to stop posting pretty pictures of Chads bows. he was the best kept secret of bowyers. Great prices and great accurate turn around times for exceptional bows.
Pretty soon his prices will go up.
Looking Good Fred!
Keep'm coming Fred! Looks great so far!!!
It's gonna be a looker!
Bisch
Very cool!
Don't forget to come back with more pics when it's all done!
Fred these are the same Eucalyptus veneers you went with. This one is a Osprey Longbow and on the stock bow page of Chads site.

Awesome!!! Chad told me the veneers look even better in person.
Kick Butt!
Nice title for a thread too!

That is a beauty Fred! Love the zebra wood and Chechen. I still see some interesting color in the chevron pattern running through that Chechen! Very unique! Looking forward to seeing the limb veneers against that riser.
Michael. Yes, Chad said that this piece of Chechen had some unique color to it. I'm also anxious to see the eucalyptus veneers with it!
The bow will darken and the colors be much more rich with the finish and is going to be stunning! Great looking bow Fred.
Hey Fred, what will the bow draw at 28"?
Chad told me it was at 46#@28" before final sanding. If anything he said it might loose another pound.
Perrrrrfect! Wait 'til you shoot it, you're gonna love it. Mine came in a little heavier,49# before final sanding and she didn't budge from there. I'm happy it didn't because it draws smooth and easy. I was looking for something between 46-49#. Looking forward to your shooting report once it's in your hands.
Fred that Zebra looks Awesome with those dark lines..
I know you are getting excited and hope it will be at your door step soon.
Give me a text when you get it buddy. :archer:
The bow is finishing out at 45# @ 28" The above picture is just the first coat of grain filler. The color will really come out of the wood when I spray it tomorrow night. That Che Chen has some neat color in the chevrons. Chad
Fred, are you going to be able to pull that much weight?
:biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Careful Fred you might get hurt Drawing it to full draw.
I'm busting a nut thinking about it :readit:
Michael, I think I'm gonna have to start working out and soon!! :biglaugh:
Actually, 45#@28" is perfect since my draw is 29 1/2".
Opps, didn't hold down the shift button long enough I guess. 45# dead nuts.
Yaa,the 20 year lay off will get to you eventually Fred:)
These bows are turning out very nice as you would expect. Some real eye candy.
My 62" had Coco bolo and osage riser and curly maple limbs I believe.Curly something anyway.Very pretty bow and really smooth shooter.Loved that little ridgeline that was on the back of the grip that nestled right down the finger joints. That felt nice!
Enjoy your bow!
Some very happy campers here for sure!!!

Awesome Fred!
Beautiful bow Fred! Love the zebra overlays against the eucalyptus veneers...very unique!
My limbs are starting to darken a bit even now as I have been shooting every day in some beautiful weather here. I'm sure yours will do the same and just get prettier as time goes on. Enjoy it and shoot well buddy!!
What a beauty Fred. I know you will but please post up your thoughts when she arrives. I'd like to know how she performs.
Nice!
Someones bow has arrived!
TJ is correct....its here and it's a beauty!!!
First off I want to publicly thank Chad not only for an impeccably crafted work of art but for also putting up with my indecisiveness in picking the woods for this bow. I love how the woods compliment each other and look together. The Chechen has an almost iridescent look to it in spots and the eucalyptus limb veneers are awesome. Shooting the bow is a dream. I love how the grip fills my hand and the thumbrest is definitely the way to go. The bow is extremely smooth on the draw, dead nuts accurate and dare I say the quietest bow I've owned to date and that's without a quiver on it yet. It's even quieter than my longbow which I thought was quiet. For those of you sitting on the fence about trying one of Chads bows you owe it to yourself to try one. They are that amazing!!!
Pics to follow.
Sounds like you got a winner Fred!! :archer:
