Let me tell you guys, up until about 2 days ago I hated D bows. I've tried a bunch over the years and hated every one of them. I've called them tooth rattlers, bows for old men, and even said I'd shoot a wheel bow before shooting one. Well about 2 weeks ago I picked up a huge lot of archery gear that included a Mohawk. Fine I thought, I'll just sell it. Well I tried selling and trading with no luck so thought I'd finally try to shoot it. My first thought was honestly, "well that didn't suck!". So I played with brace height a little and things got better. Then I slapped a quiver on and better still. So I started doing a little research and folks said they like heavy arrows so I found a set of Surewood that I thought it would like and I'm really liking this thing! So much so I just posted an add looking for a two piece. Darn you Vince, I don't know what your doing out there but keep doing it! You even gotta an atta boy from the D bow hater himself!
Never say "Never"!!!

They sure are fine shooters. I don't know how anybody that has ever shot one could say anything bad.
I'm really enjoying mine, can't see it going anywhere
Mohawk's are nice shooting bows, even though they string up to a nice D shape. They are more of a mild R/D bow,D bows to me are Hill style type bows.
Surprised you hadn't sampled the merits of a D- r/d bow until now? If you like the Mohawk try and snag a Dwyer Original. You'll be impressed as well.
Oh I've tried several, enough to know I didn't like "those" bows. Guess I hadn't found the right one.
Always nice to find something new and exciting hope you find your 2 piece
Mark, you need to swing by and see what I'm talking about.
