Yep....it's better than any store-bought medicine...bar none.

Yessir George, my girlfriend from TX was just marveling at every little burst of color she saw last week. We had to pick some keepsake leaves. ;^)

Yup, lookin' like a bowl of Trix! Razzberry red, lemon yellow, awrundge awrundge!

Very nice rather new barn, there. Ya gotta smile when you see land like that. Relaxed, peaceful, productive, alive.

Killdeer,  that farm was sold a few years back and thankfully the new owner is renovating the dilapidated old buildings.  The barn should be "barn red" by next spring 8^).

All the other photos are on SGL 48, public hunting area, about three miles from my home; 10807 acres of Earth-bound heaven.

You got it right George. Best medicine there is for me. The wife and I are out now touring the hillsides of Va, WV, MD, and PA and celebrating 25 years of a great marriage. Why do you think I got married in October.   Great Pics guys.

George i think we are a week, maybe a little more behind you.  of course the drought this year may have a big effect on the outcome of our fall colors.  i will be headed out this weekend to do some still and video work. hopefully i will have some more shots to add to this thread.

fall colors are good medicine for sure....

Beautiful! It's lookin a lot like that around here. All the aspen leaves have just started to turn golden.

Someday I need to get up to Copper Harbor to see the changing of the leaves. It's supposed to be spectacular.

The big winds here are stealing some of our time with the colors. They were/are spectacular!

No matter. Now the squirrels can`t hide as well.
The work around the house will have to wait, because of this fact.

Want to know a way to get kids to drop the video game control? Ask  :D   them if they want to go chase squirrels!

All summer everyone said there wouldn't be any color this autumn because of the early freeze and the extensive drought. They forgot one thing. The God Factor!

We are going to be experiencing our fall color change down here in South East Texas soon.

Our lawns will be turning from green to brown any time now.  :(
