Here's the first of many forward handle bows I'll be making in the next few months. It turned out as I hoped it would. 64" 40 @ 28 Cocobolo riser with coco and canary overlays and action bamboo core.

Are you going to do one with a straight grip?
-
that's a nice one.
-
A real beauty... I like the understated look from the subtly combination of woods..
Can your forward grip be done in takedown form?
-
Wow ! You may be hearing from me very soon
-
That is beautiful......I really like forward or reverse handle bows, I have several.
-
Nice bow Brian,Keep up the good work
-
M Midd, a straight grip would be no problem at all.
-
That's a nice looking bow,I do like a reverse handle bow!
-
That is awesome, i really like the look of those overlays on the belly of the riser.
-
Very nice workmanship.
-
What type of limb will that reverse handle bow have?Reflex/deflex,string follow, reflexed?
Lokks nice!I like the handle overlays.
-
Yeah, a string follow bow would be sweet!
Fine looker!
-
Very nice!!
-
Brian, nice looking bow! Glad to see that things are going well for you.
Your camping friend at Denton Hill.

-
Thanks Jerry. That was a fun weekend. You guys sure know how to do it up right!!!
-
Brain,
Im still loving the recurve but im probably going to have to have one of those too
-
Steelhead, it can be had with either string follow or backset. This one has string follow.

Very nice! How about a 2 piece?
-
Working on one right now. I had to make a slight modification to the size and shape of the riser but I think it's gonna do just fine.
-
Nice......I would like to see the 2 piece!!
-
Pretty bow, Brian!
-
Just when I thought I had settled on being a recurve shooter...
-
It corrupts us all....can't wait to see that 2 peice all finished.
-
What kinda limb wood is that on the belly ? Hickory ?
-
Well, I just made the call to have Brian build me one of these forward handle ASL's. Osage and brown glass, nothing fancy. Brian was great on the phone and very helpful.......can't wait to get her home.......the wait begins......lol!

You won't regret it. My fiance has the very first one. She was picky when we were looking for a new bow. She held it shot 3 arrows and made me sign a check on the spot.... It felt great in the hand and she says it fees super when she shoots it... She won't let me try it though just hold it. so I ordered a 2 piece version for myself.
-
Who else is waiting for one of these.......
-
Have a backset on order also
-
L82HUNT......when is your bow due?
-
Nice bow, Nothing wrong with that, Looks like a great design and great workmanship.
God bless, Steve
-
He said 5 to 6 weeks. And that was a week ago
-
I'm either right in front of you or right behind you........lol!

I have a forward handle ASL from Brian that should be coming any day now. Can't wait to get it! Some beautiful bows on this thread.
-
I have had my forward handle for a while now......mine was made with dual shelves so can be shot with either hand. Nice and smooth and quiet. Brian makes a nice bow. Easy on the eyes also.
