I shot this guy at about 15 yrds while sitting on the ground last night at one of my feeders. He spun and I hit him in the shoulder. Thank God for my string tracker from Chad Orde because he didn't leave much of a blood trail. Enough I could have found him but the tracker sure makes it a lot easier!!
He weighed 230#. (http://i324.photobucket.com/albums/k359/crittergetter76/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-02/AAA6D318-CB3F-4CC3-9AFD-97B1D55063D1_zpsqd28hmo2.jpg) (http://s324.photobucket.com/user/crittergetter76/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-02/AAA6D318-CB3F-4CC3-9AFD-97B1D55063D1_zpsqd28hmo2.jpg.html)

Most people way over estimate the weight on hogs. Especially when you sit behind one for the pics. I was the worlds worst at guessing their weight so I finally had to buy a scale. The camera adds more than 10 lbs! Lol
Thanks everybody !
Very nice...
Awesome hog! Congrats!

Great job, Randy! Mine have still disappeared, but the foodplots are happy about that.
You definitely earned your pic on the main page! WOW holey moley
That's a hammer!!! Great job on a true trophy. If you ever need help finding a wounded pig, I have a good blood trail dog in Dallas and would jump at the chance to help.
That's a good one Randy.

I wish I had known that sooner! I lost a good one last year that I know I had to of died. That's the main reason I went to a string tracker for pigs. But I know now!
