Did you see his picture at the top this week. The guy has been snow shoe hare hunting and I really miss doing that.
So I don't really hate him. I just envy him a lot.
I was just going to post that Charlie! Nice looking hare there Scott! whats the bow you are shooting?
unique kill.....great job!
Looks like great fun :) Nice shooting Scott :archer2:
Terry, that's because that's a unique rabbit!! Do you know how you catch a "unique" rabbit???........
U neak up on them!!!!! beautiful snowshoe!! Congrats!!
You are Funny Sean. :biglaugh:
Congrats Scott. Tough to see them lil buggars.
Congrats Scott
I'm with Charlie, sure do miss hunting them. They used to be THICK when I was a kid, but with all the 'Yotes, Owls & Hawks they have all but disappeared, now when you see a track you take a pic.
Way to go my friend, congrats!
Good Shooting, Scott!!
Thanks, everyone for the compliments, Charlie, you had me for a minute there,,going,,'what the hell did I do"?..haha
We have plenty of snowshoes up here; used my Fireball longbow on that one. I essentially track them on my own snowshoes, and hopefully spy them before they see me. I could only imagine if I had a Beagle. I have gotten 4 so far this season..still have a few weeks to go, and we just got a fresh 37" here, so look out!!
:biglaugh:
Scott... I don't mean to steal the spotlight, but here's a snowshoe hare picture of mine. Note that the ears of my bunny are slightly larger than yours. It has not been officially scored so there's no way to tell for sure.
:D

Man your getting after them....nice :)
Charlie' That's a classic pic, great grin, lots of satisfaction, eh? Theres something about chasing them critters and getting an arrow into them..fun sport, keeps my shooting sharp.
Richard, nice to see ya! Been after em? :wavey:
Great shooting guys! Great pics.
I've been out a couple more times....but there were so many tracks :knothead: it was tuff to figure out which way they went...lol
Nice pic Charlie Lamb!
So, it's the size of the EARS for the score. This site is so educational...
Used to hunt them in deep snow in Alaska, great way to lose arrows!! But a lot of fun and good eating.
Nice job Scott.. Great pic and even better shooting..
YEE HAA !!
Man, those are some big wabbits!
Congrats to Scott!
Bisch
Scott, you got some was bit fur on your chin...
That Scott must be really good, he hunts in the snow with white fletching :archer2: I would be out of arrows in about four shots into the snow !
That's so cool congratulations. I need to get out after some rabbits.

Hey , what about that one you had a pic of in your book Charlie? You had me all in,rascal!
Congrats Scott!!! That thing is as big as most deer I get!
I hesitate to post the picture kenny. It's a totally different species than Scott's. No comparison.
Oh what the hell. Here's a pic of my "chemically enhanced" Jack.

Charlie you got me beat by a mile!! I'd be afraid that that Snow Jack would be hunting me!!!
:scared:
That pic don't show the fangs ..or incisors.. or stuff!
Great shooting! Looks like fun to me.
Each October Scotty changes the voicemail on his phone, "I'm in the woods, call you when I come out"! I left a message back in early October and he still hasn't returned my call!!!
By the look of that picture and the old gray faced woodsman hiding behind that little rabbit he's still lost somewhere in the Adirondacks.
To you brother...... :clapper:
I only got out to hunt snowshoes once this winter and didn't have any luck! I'm envious Scott! Nice wabbit man! Awesome pic and surroundings too!
Great job Scott...!
I do miss chasing the Snowshoes, don't have any here, but we do have swamp rabbits, almost as big as that jack in Charlie's picture, (almost)..
Nice Scott!
Pat, I bet you miss them Colorado Hares! Larry,, you got any up that way?
big storm coming tonite/tomorrow, Im gonna give em a couple days, they'll be moving later in the week..its fun!!
nope, just cotton tails around here, and they seem to be on the low side of their cycle around here
My attraction to pursue small game has me enthralled by your success.
Excellent harvest!
Dude-nice shooting. Must've been all that practice at the rendezvous!

Geeez that bigger than some of the whitetails I see guys posing with on here!
In all fairness different species or not that's a much bigger target than Scotts :biglaugh:
