I need to order a new side mount bow quiver. Does the Thunderhorn quiver have a deep enough hood to cover the long 3:1 broadheads? (Grizzly 190). Last season I cut a brand new pair of Kuiu pants just by touching the corner of a sharp head that was in the quiver.
Does anyone have experience with the side mount bow quiver that Predator sells?http://www.huntersniche.com/products/accessories It kind of looks like it might be made by thunderhorn. I can't tell how deep the hood on that one is either. I like the 7 arrow idea. That would allow a few shots at stumps or small game during and all day deer hunt.
Thanks
Check Eagle's Flight. I think one of Don's models might cover one at 3".
I think most if not all the quiver makers will do extra deep hoods if you ask. I have two Thunderhorns and both fully cover my Tuffheads at 3 3/16". I did ask for an extra deep hood when I ordered.

Eagle Flight does. I have one of their quivers and I love it. Light weight but sturdy.
I just ordered an extreme kickback side mount quiver from Great Northern this weekend and one of the options you have to choose from is the length of the quiver hood.

+1 on the Eagles Flight. I and both my boys shoot long grizz and kodiak heads, with the use of Eagles Flight Quivers. Works very nicely.
I have a couple of the Great Northern large hoods with Horse hide. They cover the heads nicely.
thanks I ordered a Selway 6 arrow quiver. I hope it fits.

The thunderhorn small fry will if you stay close to center, the big one definitely will.
