I've been having a horrible time making bows lately. If it could go wrong it did. Began looking under the bed to see if Murphy was hiding there. But finally I have one that appears to be working out. Here's the first bow I've been able to get this far on without breaking but it turned out just like supertiller predicted. This is a bow for 1 of my grandsons. It's an all wood 48", ipe belly, actionboo center, and 1/4 sawn white oak back. All three lams are tapered. I lost my saved supertiller design for this because of a computer crash but have a copy at work so will post pics later.

Tiller at 16" draw and nothing done to the limb.

Looks good I would like to build one like that for my son, would you share the dim. of all the lams and handle? What kind of draw weight are you shooting for. I would need it about 20-25# @ 19".

Looking good

Nice tiller, amazing that the lamination recipe brought it in so close. Looks like a fine shooter.

Very nice work. Good job on getting the boy involved too.

Here's the comparison of SuperTiller and the actual bow.

Well she's about ready for some finish. Will try to get that done soon. It's turned out better then I'd hoped. Have to get a string made for it too. 18# @ 24" 48"

Kenny where'd you did up this thread. Been a while since I built this one. The kids are growing too fast so I've been working on the plans for some 56 to 58" glass/wood longbows for the kids. By the way you really seem to be enjoying yourself making the laminations. Nice looking bow you made for your wife too.
