Hello all,
While those that don't know me last year was my first year for Trad hunting.Put off rotator cuff surgery so I could finish out the season. I did not harvest any deer but had some great encounters..Had some complications but should be ok. Looking forward to getting back to shooting which I know will be awhile. Fred(1/4away) hope to be ready for some light shooting by spring.May need to find light weight bow to start out..chris
Good luck with your recovery. I hope it is swift and complete!

Good luck and do as Doc recommends..
Don't rush it. You'll recover easier if you wait until your ready to start shooting again.
Agreed you MUST follow your docs orders and therapists recommendations to the letter, no jumping the gun. Wish you good luck for a full recovery.
I feel for you. I deal with tennis elbow, and wrist carpal tunnel, and rotar cuff is much worse. I have a friend who just did surgery today on her rotar cuff. Takes lots of therapy and time, so hang in there.
Good luck with your recovery.
Chris, Glad to hear that all went well with the surgery. Don't rush it, but when you're ready to shoot I'll hook you up with a lighter weight bow. Fred
Don't neglect the physical therapy!!!! Keep at it long after it gets boring or you think you are not making any progress. I'm sure you will make a good recovery; maybe not to pulling a 65# bow, but enough to hunt and enjoy archery. Drive on!
I can feel for you. I have shoulder surgery scheduled for Feb 18.
