My new Blacktail that is! I just put the finishing touches on it. I added a Thunderhorn Lynx quiver. They do such a good job at matching the leather to the colors in the bow. I have never been disappointed in any quiver that I have bought from them. The rubber straps act as vibration dampeners, they really work nice.
And to top it all off, a brand new dozen arrows from Gary Hall at D&M Custom Arrows. I have always been a do-it-your selfer when it comes to just about everything. After getting to know Gary over the past year, and seeing his beautiful work....well, I just couldn't resist! I went with Beeman Centershot 600s, with PINK!! :jumper:
I hope to get it out on some 3D ranges VERY soon.

Great lookin' stick! (and arrows too)
Bisch
The color coordination is cool! Is that Macassar and curly maple?
Very Nice!!
Roy, it's Macassar and Myrtle
What a fine stick allen you deserve it and Best of luck to you with it and hope you have many successful hunts with it!!
WOW and WOW!! Love it! Congratulations! :clapper:
Lookin good.
Loving those looks. One of the prettiest bows I've ever seen. BTW that cedar string you made for my TC is gorgeous.
Good look'n setup Allen ... can't beat a beautiful Blacktail bow
:archer2:
Nice combo,Allen.

Alex, that Natural Cedar color in Fury is great. The string on my bow here is brow, Nat. Cedar w/2 black strands. It matches the woods in my boq perfectly.
Wow Allen!! Great looking bow, quiver, arrows and bow string. I especially like the contrast between the ebony and myrtle. I too found that my new Thunderhorn Lynx matched my bow colors perfectly. It's gonna hurt when you lose an arrow that pretty. How's it shooting?
if they give awards for prettiest bows, you should win that one easily! Let's hope you can shoot half as good as the bow looks! ;)
The whole set-up is beautiful.
I really like that quiver. I've been looking at a number of 4 arrow bow quivers and that may be the one I try.
Thanks for sharing.
The bow and quiver match very well. They are beautiful!

Michael, it shoots fantastic! Tuning was a breeze.
I worry more about busting one of these pretty arrows with another arrow more than losing one. Guess I need to learn to be more careful. :dunno:
Yep, I think you can walk on any 3D range with chest out and head held high! Or you could just be you. A handsome pair they are.
Very nice!
Wow, beautiful setup, Allen. Much nicer than that "soulless" bow you were shooting in Baltimore last year. Bring it this year. I have a new to me Blacktail I'll bring along. Take care - Jeff
Looks good!!
Nothing like a dressed up bow and arrows. Sweet!
Damn!...fine looking bow!
She's a beaut Clark!
Thanks for sharing!
Everything matches!
Dang Allen.....you got style!
.
Wow, great looking setup. Congrats Allen
Very nice!

Not quite Tim. I still need to build a pink string for it. :jumper:
Beautiful job matching everything up. Really first class.
Beautiful combo
Very nice Allen!
Very nice. Love the color.
Too Cool Allen. I hope Danny and Bill Play nice at the next shoot. Hate to see those boys RobinHood one of those beauties. Just my luck it will be me. Woops... there goes the Cool Springs discount on strings. :knothead:
Yeah, dem 'der Blacktails sure are one purty bow. Nice quiver too. But I couldn't in good conscience shoot those arrows. Too nice to lose or break, but that's just me. I'll look for that setup in Baltimore this year. You might also consider coming to the Whittingham shoot in Jersey the last weekend of April. Not that far from VA.
Nice!
Good job Allen that looks SHARP....hope to see it at Baltimore this year
Thanks guys! I will definitely be carrying it at Baltimore.
David, I have never thought of attending Whittingham, I will look in to it.
Jeff, I worry more about scratching my bow on our bunny hunt next weekend, than tearing up a pretty arrow. Both would probably make me shed a tear though! :scared: :scared:
Sweet set up man! It will look better with blood on it!
P.S. That string you made for my '62 Grizz looks great and makes the bow shoot 100% better :notworthy:
Dalton
Dalton... :shaka:
I like happy archers!
A.S. That is one pretty setup. Love how it turned out with the color match and those arrows are awesome.I am gonna have to get me a set of orange ones soon..
How could Norm make such a beautiful bow and then put the shelf on the wrong side??!!
Quite a bow! Best of luck with it.
Beautiful. Might be tough to hunt with. The deer will sneak past you sit looking at your bow.
nice....love the quiver too...didn't know they made that model.
Terry, it is my favorite quiver. I have bought several of them. The rod connecting the upper and lower parts is adjustable for different length risers.
yep....its own my list
Like we talked on the phone, I really love Blacktails and your wood combination is outstanding! A very nice touch with the quiver and string and the reverse footed limbs was a good call.
I call dibbs! What a beauty.
Positively gorgeous, Allen.
Keep up the good work on your strings.
I have several and love them all.
Irv
Must be expensive for a man to have to live with such fine tastes!
Scott, I was pretty proud of myself that I resisted the urge to order one of the T2 Special Edition models from Blacktail. I would be afraid to carry it out of the house. They do incredible work, no matter which one you choose.
Looks great Allen. Can't go wrong with norm and gary. Your strings add icing to a beautiful setup.
Great look'n rig Allen! Best of luck with her.
Maineac has a point....you might just have to buy another one. One to draw the deer in and drool, the other to shoot while they are tranced.
Very impressive. I regret cancelling my order for a Blacktail many years ago.
That was just plain dumb.
Ooh pretty! I'd like to learn how to do those splices
She's a beauty for sure guys!
Micheal, Gary's feather work is very impressive. The splices look seamless. Way above my talent level for sure!
All my bows wear a matching Thunderhorn small fry Lynx. Just the way it's supposed to be I figure.
Very nice setup, Allen! Your strings are great! They helped me take 2 whitetails last year!
Great looking setup Brother. I just set up the River Runner with some .600 shafts for turkey's and 3-D.
Ooh pretty! I'd like to learn how to do those splices
Toooo purttttttty!... I'll bet you'll get a lot of guys asking for a dance!
