Title: Big Mike's Barronett Blind
Post by: CRM_95 on January 30, 2016, 06:48:00 PM
Anybody use these? I hunt out of tree stands quite a bit here at home, but I normally make a trip to south Texas once a year and there's no trees there that will support a tree stand. I'm looking at blinds tall enough to shoot my recurve out of, and these have a center height of 80''. Just wondering if any of you actually had one or have used one and your thoughts on them.

I have the Barronett big cat, love it. Lots of room. Big enough for three people.

I have one.  great blind.  i bought a blemished one for around $111.  It was well worth it! Very sturdy, very easy to set up and take down, etc.

I have one and it works very well, no problem having enough room to shoot.

Not a bad blind.  Quality about 7 outa 10.  Size/room 9.5,  pretty heavy for pop and go hunting. Kinda noisy fabric in wind.  My buddy has cotton double bull and it's better but twice as much.  I've always wondered about hidden Hunter blinds.....

Pretty awesome. I have a half a doz blinds including double bulls. The two big Mikes I have are the bomb. I can shoot standing or sitting.
Like them so much that I contacted them about carrying there blinds in our store.

I used one for a few years until an unexpected snow crashed it. I used it as a stationary stand. I didn't carry it around, so I don't know how that would be. I really enjoyed it, the way I used it.

I set up my Big Mike XL and Primos Club XXL ground blinds up for the entire deer season, then relocate them for turkey season.  If I need a quick pop-up blind, I use one of the spring steel blinds.  I really enjoy the large blinds as there is no clearance problems with a longbow or recurve, and there is plenty of room to reposition for a shot.  Brian
