Title: Anyone shipped a bow to Alaska?
Post by: JBridegroom22 on January 26, 2016, 10:01:00 PM
I have a friend of mine that is stationed in Alaska. Before he went into the army he was looking into getting a bow but never bought one. I want to send him one of mine but I wasn't sure what the price of shipping would be. Any help or comments are appreciated. Thanks Josh.

That's not bad. I need to find a box. I've used a pvc tube to ship hill style bows but I don't think the r/d will allow it to fit in a tube.

I have shipped a bear Montana (mild R/D) in a pvc tube to Soldotna AK for 30 or so dollars.

I've shipped several to and from Fairbanks.  Mostly take-downs, but one or two one-piece bows.  Never had any problems with the shipping.  Don't know what the cost is, but I don't remember it ever exceeding about $40.
