Title: LamaBo/Actionbo

Is there any noticeable difference in the performance between the laminate bamboo for core material and full length bamboo in ASL.

Laminated bamboo is more consistent, plain bamboo has more spring (if that makes any sense) because there aren't all those glue joints, but is less consistent.

Laminated bamboo might be a little easier for bowyers to work with, but if the bowyer checks each lamination for "springiness/weight," he might be able to produce a slightly higher performance bow with unlaminated bamboo.

Regardless, the differences are small and probably unnoticeable by most of us.

Thanks for the info. I just got a HH Legend Stick and they are made with Actionbo/lamabo, along with my Westley Special.
