So I'm itching for a new bow and was going to go with a Tall Tines or Silvertip recurve. I also thought about a Centaur build...
But I have a sudden interest in some Bad Medicine, but there isnt a whole heck of a lot out there on them.
I would love to see some pictures and get some input from those that own/have owned them..
Any information/pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
I've owned a couple of his bows over the years and have to say the workmanship is great with one of the best grips ever.
I hear the wait can be a couple years and Mr. Dye is a true seasoned senior.
Get the checkering and the pierce points to round out a top notch piece.
Do a search here for "Dale Dye Bows" and you will get lots of info. I pulled up a 2012 thread with some nice pics of the bows.
I really love my dyes I have 2 of them and dale is such a honest and trustworthy man to deal with his wait time is 18 months but worth every bit get a medicine point and you will be happy and with the pierce points in the riser is the icing on the cake I will post the pics of my 2

Oh yeah...now those are a couple beauties.
Wow those are nice!
How would you compare there performance to a TT or Tip?
Jarrod, those are beautiful bows.
Pred 80...those are wonderful bows. Anyone should be impressed....
No finer bow ever built, nor a finer man to deal with.
Thxs for the kind words guys I really appreciate it and yes they also shoot as good as they look!! Mr Dye is one of a kind Bowyer in my opinion :clapper:
I liked the ones I had.Its a good all around bow and well mannered.Thier really handsome.
I think his arrowshelf work is the best aesthetically.I like how it wraps over the fat of your bowhand and the arrow shelf has a unique taper to it from front to back that you cant see in the pics above.
If you like the grip it would be awesome for you.Its a bit high for me.But it is super nice and well thought out.I can see why some guys love the grip. His checkering is superb as well.
His medicine wood limbs are very attractive.
I think its one of those heirloom type bows to hand down to someone special or admire hanging above the fireplace.

Sweet looking bows guys !!! :notworthy: :notworthy:
I had a 62 inch, 55#, Dacron only Dale Dye a while back. I sold it and have regretted it ever since. It was smooth, quick and the quietest bow I have ever shot. If I ever get a chance to get it back I would in a heartbeat.
D.P.
His bows are not only great to look at, they shoot just as well!
I was in Spokane on Monday for business and had the time to I drove over to Hamilton and meet with Dale. I have had a bow on his list since last year and its coming up in May. We picked a nice piece of bocate and cocobolo for the riser, his medicine wood vaneers stained to match.
Medium checkered grip
62in three piece 45-47# at 28
It was and absolute please to meet with Dale, he is a true craftsman, and builds one of the finest bows available.
