Please, everyone re-read the 'Off Topic' thread stickied/featured to the top.
Off topics and other postings that are against the rules are getting out of hand. We are a trad bowhunting site, and we need to keep it that way and it will save us all grief if we can try our best to stay on topic and not try to 'slip one buy' or just post without knowledge of what's acceptable.
If you own a business and are NOT a sponsor please read the rules again. This is not our 1st two weeks running a site and we know self promotion when we see it most times ......no matter what saddle you put on, it its the same horse you are trying to run by us. This caused issues with BOTH of us and nothing but a waste of time.
AND, think about what you are posting, and be for I say this, yes we hunt, there is blood, and there are kills.....but think about what you post that might go beyond the scope as some are lurking here for ammunition against us.
Thanks, the Admins and I sure would appreciate it.... :campfire:

Do the bow give aways fall under the "off topic" category? I can't imagine it would but I want to make sure before I make a post!
Redux, respectfully, your giveaways have their own forum.
Generosity deserves that distinction!

Back up. I saw that. 'Let me lure you over to my business web page by giving you something for FREE' (then they will see all my goodies and BUY!!!!) Who does that guy think he was kidding?
:nono: :nono: :nono:
He probably pitched a hissy fit when his so called giving back thread was pulled. It was so obvious. Traditional does not equal stupid, well, at least for most of us.
DO NOT POST BOWS FOR SALE ON THE POWWOW UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE REMOVED FROM THIS SITE.
PLEASE READ THE RULES....DANG ALMIGHT WHAT DOES IT TAKE!!!!
Mr.Terry,
I would say some people just don't get it. However, a lot of people nowadays think it is their prerogative to unilaterally pick and choose which rules apply to them. Basically, they are dishonest, and I would say thives, they are stealing free advertising. Why would anybody ever do business with them? I it's not like somebody with that type of character would ever stand behind their product or items they sell.
Guess I should quit venting and shut up.
I got a chuckle out of the giving back thread. 26 posts and he felt the need to "Giveback". I know this stuff is a pain to have to police but sometimes ya just think "Really?"
What surprises me is the amount of responses and traffic a post like that gets.
Moving on.....
Bud B.
Just look at all the people taken in by scams that you can see through with your eyes closed. The world has a lot of people in it looking for something for nothing.
Terry, I didn't even notice that post was pulled, but I'm glad to see it. Glad to see the forums being kept on track. Thank you.
Yeah, that's a given, but to feed it here on TG seems odd.
We appreciate what you guys do here!
Terry
Thanks guys!!!!
If it sounds too good to be true...
