Anyone have an opinion or experience with these two 62" hybrid longbows. Which one would you select & why... Thanks
Never shot the Sky, but the Savannah is one of the best bows made, IMO. YOU won't be sorry if this is your choice.
I own a 50 pound Savannah
IMO one of the best!
Look at the stealth!
You will not be disappointed in the Savannah.
The Longhorn may be one of the best ever.
I haven't shot a Sky Longhorn, but have a Martin Savannah.I bought it new the first year they came out many years ago.And I still have it and shoot it along with my other longbows. It is a great shooting bow, fast and quiet in my opinion and I like the looks with zebrawood and bubinga riser.I'm a big fan of Martin/Howatt bows and have had many over the years.I still have two Hunter's also which is a great shooting one-piece recurve!
Have a 40# savannah stealth I bought new and it's a smooth and accurate bow. First bow had a crack develop and martin was quick to build and send me a new one once I called. Great customer service. Also have a 50# hunter and that bow will never be sold or traded. Just wish I got the savannah at a higher poundage, absolutely beautiful bow as well. On the stealth the belly laminations are stunning.
I may be wrong but if that Longhorn bow that Jim makes is the Longhorn form from Jeff Massey then its a shooter. When Jeff retired I heard something about Jim buying all his forms? Not sure............Ray
Thanks guys. Keep the comments coming. Leaning hard towards the Longhorn model
I think they would both be better with bamboo cores.Never understood why the hard wood core in the savannah.RC
The Sky Longhorn is the old Massey Longhorn and it continues to be one of the best bows in it's class.

As said previously, the Sky Longhorn is the old Jeff Massie Longhorn. When Jeff got out of the bow building business Belcher took over building the Longhorn. My wife and I together own 4 Longhorns built by Jeff and they are fantastic bows.
I've got a Belcher longhorn 62". Smoothest shooting longbow I've ever shot.
