29.5 is pretty much the limit on a Kestrel IMHO for an enjoyable draw, especially at higher draw weight 50+#.  The string angle at this draw length or higher is passing 90° at the tips.  Don't get me wrong, Toelke bows are pretty much my favorite, but I'm surprised you didn't opt for something like a Helms Deep instead?

58" Chinook would be a better option. Smoother and quieter in my opinion.

I had a kestrel great little bow id still have it but it was a bit light of draw weight for me iv got a 29" draw and it was smooth for me and was good to 30 but id consider that its max iv also had a couple of 56" helmsdeeps and there a great bow and a 56" border ghillie dhu  and it was by far the fastest of them all and hopefully in a couple of weeks il have a 52in Ghillie Dhu as well im a big fan of short recurves and out of allof the ones iv tryed these 3 are my favorite so far

I draw over 29 and hunted with a Kestral for 2 years.I really loved hunting with the short package.Very convenient.I found it to be stable and accurate and smooth drawing.

Its not as quiet as the 2 60" chinooks I had.But I put limbsavers on it and it quieted down extremely well.

Definalty hunting quiet for spooky deer with the limbsavers.

Its the shortest bow I have ever had.I picked it to be my hunting bow and I had a lot of choices in that regard.I would own another one no problem and would like to get another one someday.
